Lightning doesn't strike twice in the same place, and despite the re-teaming of writer and director Kevin Williamson and Wes Craven, plus the surviving members of the Scream cast, Scream 2 doesn't live up to its predecessor. Opening weekend stalked a fearsome $33 million, followed by a 57 percent dropoff.
