A dystopian sci-fi action thriller shot in 3D and 50 shades of gray, this adaptation of the bleakly satirical comic-book series plays its story of future justice at gunpoint straight and dull, despite the near-nonstop mayhem that claims people and property in equal proportions. About the best that can be said of it is that it's not as awful as the 1995 version starring Sylvester Stallone, Sandra Bullock and Wesley Snipes.
